“giving & experiencing” is the motto of arsEdition. The publisher is also delighted with the production process for its children’s activity books, which is fully supported by inxire.
The children’s books contain puzzles, tasks, coloring pages and games assembled from different images, tasks and texts. In inxire, activity books for various subject areas and age groups can be generated from this data.
It began with importing all relevant image and text data including layout information, as well as assigning metadata en masse and tagging the images. From this, the books can now be generated automatically at the click of a button.
In daily operations, small helpers support the editors at every step - for example by storing history and variants, a correction option for question texts or a preview. In this way the software is integrated into the entire production process: from creating a title, through compiling the content and generating a digital manuscript in PDF format, to the final approval.
