A persuasive solution with a strong performance – the inxire Digital Platform
The task for asdag was clear: In order to harmonize the BMW Group incentive activities, there was a need to implement a centralized reward program and E-Learning platform as a lifestyle club.
An integral element of awarding the contract was to achieve the maximum compatibility with other areas within the company and other data suppliers, as well as providing continuous scalability, even for a pan-European implementation. A demanding challenge and the decisive criterion that led to the implementation of the inxire Digital Platform.
The requirements for the online application that asdag manages for the BMW Group on an outsourcing basis are high: Currently, 25 data suppliers are connected to the portal, with a wide range of systems. As well as achieving compatibility with the different connections, the database solution had to handle a lot of complexity. The implemented solution that is in use 24/7 processes more than 25,000 transactions every day, and this number is rising all the time.
With their decision to go with a combination of an Oracle platform and inxire Digital Platform, asdag chose a high-function and future-safe solution that ticked all the boxes. All organizational structures, employee and sales activities are represented in the database model.
The standardized evaluation system manages premium and status points for the sales and customer retention activities of individual employees. For this purpose, up to 200 different attributes are evaluated for each transaction, which are mapped in the backend Oracle database through implemented Stored Procedures.
The online application has a single sign-on with various frontends, which will then present the available information to the more than 10,000 Users. In this way, the inxire Digital Platform based portal system will be able to differentiate the target groups very efficiently, through the use of multi-dimensional attributes, ensuring maximum individuality and minimum scatter wastage. Even the scalability required for the planned European rollout is no problem for the system.
The system platform, developed by asdag on an Oracle basis with inxire Digital Platform, offers the BMW Group a raft of advantages: Using a minimum of resources, the BMW Group now has the possibility to assign sales and customer retention activities that are matched to the individual potential of the employees and to reward their success directly.
